Lesson 8

5] AKHIR

THE LAST DAY or THE DAY OF JUDGMENT.

This day is a certainty.

On this day the Angel Israfil (AS), will blow the Trumpet twice.

First time blown – all creatures are destroyed, all mountains are crumbled and the earth will be levelled.

Second time blown – all will be resurrected to stand for Judgment.

All Ruh (Souls) no matter where they are will be brought back by the Angel Fattan

(the Tempter).

Deatiled questions on how they spend their lives in this world will be asked by two Angels, Munkar and Nakir in the grave.

Here these two Angels will not look like Angels but will appear black with eyes of brass.

Rewards of Heaven and Hell will be given to them accordingly.

The Mumins (people of faith) will receive in their right hands the scroll recording all their good deeds.

The Kafirs (infidels) will receive in their left hands the scroll recording all their evil deeds.

Every person’s action will be weighed on the scale called Mizan.

They will be made to cross abridge called Assiratul Mustaqim.

Those with heavy good deeds will cross the bridge like lightning.

Drinks from the River Haulul Kauthar (a special sweetness drink) will be given.

They will stand in the shade of the Arsh under a flag known as

Liwa al Hamd.

Finally they will be admitted into Jannah (Heaven) to live forever.

Those Kafirs and those with heavy evil deeds will live in Jahanam (Hell) forever.

Our Master Muhammad (SAW) will by his Shafa’at Kubra (Great Intercession) will save many sinners.

The power to intercede will be granted to the Nabis, Alims n Shahids.
